I just started reading the September/October 2007 issue of Somerset Studio (I’m way behind in my magazine reading!) and there is an artist profile on Julie Pearson. I haven’t read the article yet, but one of her quotes caught my eye. She said,
“Live what you believe; make your whole life your art.”
I love this. I am embracing this philosophy, and will strive everyday to make my life my art. I’m not exactly sure how to go about doing that, but I will figure out something.
Here are a few photos of Julie’s artwork from the article.

This one is called Dreaming of Venice. Lovely!

And this one is Homage to Oscar de la Renta. I totally love this shoe. There were a few other shoes too, but this was my favorite.
The rest of her art featured in the article is just as wonderful as these two pieces. She is very talented and inspiring. I wish I could make things like this!
Hi! I'm Dawne. I am a woman, an artist, a wife, a mother, a lover of all things sparkly, and a chocoholic. Welcome to my little world of beads, paper, ink, and glitter glue. Here I record the chronicles of my artistic adventures and mishaps, in my never-ending quest to allow my love of creating beautiful things to express itself.
